THE HURRICANE
Dr. Emoto’s inspiring message about
water
by Nancy Wilson, LMT
Tonight, as we enter the weekend of October 22, 2005, Hurricane Wilma is
churning out in the gulf just off the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The
weather man says it is coming to Florida and today there was the beginning
of a mandatory evacuation in our town of Naples and Marco Island. The
water dragon is snorting and pawing angrily. Water. It’s all about water.
The earth is sending us major messages. All over the world there are
storms, floods, tsunamis, torrential rain and mud slides.
But there is a kinder, sweeter message coming to us about water. It is
being brought to us by Dr. Masura Emoto. Dr. Emoto is a Japanese man who
has taken “before and after” photographs of water molecules (before and
after prayer) and the results are stunning. His photographs are posted on
his website and in his book (The Hidden Messages in Water). They have been
impacting people all around the world. Two days ago Dr. Emoto spoke to a
crowd of 450 in Sandpoint, Idaho, a quiet community in the foothills of
the Rockies. My sister was among those in attendance, so I received a
report by phone. It was hugely inspiring. Now, today, with the looming
threat of Hurricane Wilma parked just beyond Florida and heading towards
our coast line, I thought that this would be a good time to send this
message out to everyone I know.
The message is a new way to look at water. Again, see the photographs on
Dr. Emoto’s website at
www.hado.net and his message below.
Hado means “vibration.” He has taken photographs of water crystals,
magnified many times over. The water was taken from a variety of bodies of
water, ponds, lakes, oceans, around the world. His photos show big ugly
shapeless blobs before praying over the water, and beautiful clear lacy
delicate crystals after a 15-minute group prayer thanking and blessing the
water—a distinct change from the “before” photos.
As a result of these photographs, Dr. Emoto has begun speaking out about
the power of prayer upon water. And since our bodies are composed mostly
of water, these changes influence us too. For those who require proof of
prayer, it is now available in Dr. Emoto’s work. His photographs show
irrefutably that water is responsive to human thought and intent. He has
also pointed out that the recent increase in tsunamis, earthquakes,
floods, and hurricanes are chaotic manifestations of water. The global
warming brought on by over population and the over-abundant use of fuel
and fire, has brought about an excess of water as a form of
counter-balance. Ancient wisdom shows that fire and water balance each
other out. The earth is trying to maintain her equilibrium since humans
are not only NOT helping her, but are continuing to abuse and dishonor
her.
Dr. Emoto is urging us to pray over water to decrease the impact of
floods, hurricanes and other devastating effects of these powerful earth
changes. He has proved that water responds to human intent and prayer, but
it is up to us to bring about these changes. The hurricane Wilma has
stopped in its path long enough to draw our attention to it as it sits
poised ready to thrash Florida. It’s as if it is saying (like the cell
phone man): “Here I am. Can you hear me now?” giving us a chance to work
with it and send healing, soothing thoughts in its direction.
Perhaps we CAN do something about this storm threatening our land. Dr.
Emoto calls it the water dragon (another story). The water dragon is
angry. Why is it angry? Because it is afraid, unacknowledged and hurt. The
water, wind and rain spirits have been feared and resisted. Now we have an
angry water dragon in the form of Hurricane Wilma. Why she is angry is not
as important as what we can do to soothe her fears. When a human being is
feared and resisted they become resentful and angry. The water dragon is
no different. A sincere THANK YOU, I HONOR YOU, spoken into the wind would
go a long way to soothe her anger. “Thank you for bringing this lesson
home to us. I honor you, I respect you, I hear you, I appreciate you, I
thank you, you are valuable, you are my friend.”
In all native communities there is a tradition to take time to honor the
earth, the elements and the ancestors. They are the forces which watch
over us and protect us. We owe them our allegiance. They keep our earth
planet flowing smoothly. When we ignore them, watch out! All native
communities have ceremonies and rituals to give thanks and respect to the
earth except the western civilization which has grown too sophisticated to
believe such nonsense. Perhaps this is our big lesson—and chance to return
to the fold of the earth’s primary inhabitants.
Perhaps it is time to expand our knowledge to include the invisible
dimensions. The science of bio -dynamics, which blends both science and
mysticism, recognizes and works with the invisible worlds, as does quantum
physics. We cannot out shout the angry storm or force it to change any
more than we can out shout a child having a temper tantrum. Dr. Emoto’s
photos prove that we can work gently with turbulent, contaminated and
violent water. And perhaps it is important to mention another man who, two
thousand years ago, brought a violent storm to stillness and then walked
on the waves. He was called supernatural but he said we could do the same
thing if we believed we could.
When we give forth thoughts for harmony and peace, we are praying. We are
soothing the agitated water spirits. They have grown violent because they
have become afraid of humans, and rightly so. We have not been the best
of guardians for the earth. We have abused her quite enough. But it is not
too late to change our thinking and begin blessing her, honor her, the
earth, and her elements: the water, the wind, the fire and rain, and the
creatures and insects that live with us on the planet. It is not too late.
We can change things. Dr. Emoto’s photos have shown us that we can. The
question is, have we matured enough to put fear aside and ignite the love
in us to still the storm? Are we ready yet? Water responds to prayer and
peaceful intentions. So does the hurricane. Each individual is powerful
enough in his or her own mind, to create stillness and peace around them.
Message from Dr. Emoto on Water.
In the beginning of April, 2005, I received an invitation to visit Brazil
from NGO called “CRY OF WATER” in Sao Paulo. I visited there about one
week and gave 6 lectures in various places. During my visit, I was asked
to take the lead in the ceremony to purify the water of Lake Pichucaba in
Sao Paulo, for Lake Carapicuiba was heavily polluted recently. Of course,
I accepted that request and went to the lake with 30 friends on Sunday of
the week. In fact, water of the lake was considerably polluted and gave
off a terrible smell. And I was bewildered by the unexpected size of the
lake. I thought the lake was too large for sending energy to all corners
of the lake by 30 persons.
After thinking for a while, I decided how to offer our prayer. First, I
asked to put the water of the lake into a 500 cc PET bottle. Then I asked
them to join hands in a circle and put the bottle in the center of this
circle. And I said, By this number, this lake is too large to pray
directly to water. So let’s offer a prayer to the water of this PET
bottle. By doing this, this small quantity of water will resonate with the
water of the whole lake and will surely bring about the same effect to the
lake. Gazing at the water, I said 3 times, I Love You, Water. I Thank You,
Water. I Respect You, Water. Other people repeated the same after me. And
we offered our thought to water for a minute. I brought three PET bottles
back to Japan. The 1st is water before a prayer, 2nd is water put in a PET
bottle after a prayer, and the last is water of the lake after offering a
prayer. Of course, I took pictures of those water crystals. The results
are shown below. (Unfortunately they did not reproduce here, sorry. But
they can be found in his book and on his website.)
I myself led the prayer and got these images, subsequently. But I did not
expect that we could take these pictures so perfectly in this way. When I
saw these pictures, I got goose bumps and found no word to say. I found
that what I am going to do on July 24th (2005) is to the point. I was
moved deeply and was not able to hold back my tears.
Now you can imagine. On July 24th,—our day of prayer for water—we offer
pure prayer to water in various places of the world, wishing the peace of
our earth and human beings.
Much water for praying is not required. Only a glass of water will do. And
please pray for 3 minutes at home, at work, at the edge of the lake, at
the riverside, at the lakeside, or at the beach. You may pray any time on
July 24th. The waves generated by the HADO (vibration) of our sincere
prayer will wrap in this wounded planet completely. A blueprint of our
planet Earth and our human society filled with Love and Thanks and without
any conflicts will be formed on this day. We said together on July 24, I
Love You, Water. I Thank You, Water. I Respect You, Water.
President of the Project of Love and Thanks to Water Masaru Emoto.
(Editor: We did the prayer project in July as did many people around the
world. I went to the river and drew water into a pint jar. We put the
water in the middle of a circle of people and said the prayer mentioned
above and gave our thoughts for a few minutes. When I first read Emoto’s
book I began to thank the water for being there. All the water I drink has
the prayer written on the water container.)
